New databases

Below are the new databases which could be accessed via library website.
1.    Associated Press Collections Online: New Features & Internal Communications
Associated Press Collections Online is a publishing program focusing on making varied treasures of the Associated Press Corporate Archives, AP Images, and AP Archive available to libraries worldwide. Exploring the history and back story of the venerable Associated Press—decades’ worth of wire copy, correspondence, memos, internal publications, and more
2.    Cambridge Journals Online: Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS)
The Humanities and Social Sciences package includes areas such as economics, business and management, language and linguistics, politics and international relations, literature, social studies, etc.
Among Humanities and Social Sciences titles, more than 70% of them are cited by SSCI and AHCI. Behavioral and Brain Sciences is placed top of the entire Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) of more than 2,600 journals and Politics & Gender, American Political Science Review, International Organization and Behavioral and Brain Sciences are all ranked top 5 in their categories. 2013 Nobel Prize winner Eugene Fama, Lars Peter Hansen and Robert Shiller published articles on Cambridge economics journals.
3.    Financial Times Historical Archive, 1888-2010
The Financial Times Historical Archive delivers the complete searchable run of the world’s most authoritative daily business newspaper. Every item ever printed in the paper, from 1888-2010, can be searched and browsed article by article and page by page. It includes over 700,000 pages of past issues, including Special Supplements and the FT Magazine.
4.    National Geographic Magazine Archive, 1888-Current
National Geographic Virtual Library brings together a complete archive of National Geographic magazine — every page of every issue — along with a cross-searchable collection of National Geographic books, maps, images and videos. National Geographic magazine built its reputation delivering the highest-quality photojournalism and cartography in the world. The monthly publication provides unparalleled, in-depth coverage of cultures, nature, science, technology and more.
HKSYU subscribes two parts of this National Geographic Virtual Library including:
•    National Geographic Magazine Archive, 1888-1994
•    National Geographic Magazine Archive, 1995-Current
