"《脂硯齋重評石頭記：己卯本》，是脂評本系統中成書年代較早也比較確定的一種，因抄本上有“己卯冬月定本”題字，所以簡稱“己卯本”。全書現共存四十餘回，據學者考證，己卯本系乾隆時怡親王允祥、弘曉府上的抄藏本，故又稱“怡府本”。己卯本與“庚辰本”關係密切，原抄正文訛奪字很少，文字有多於庚辰本的地方，語意較庚辰本確切；有回前評，無複雜的眉批側批，面貌乾淨，批語絕大多數在正文內雙行書寫，計七百多條，《紅樓夢》早期抄本中學術價值十分重要的一種。" --
