Chinese Books  | Chinese books are classified and shelved according to the New Classification Scheme for Chinese Libraries (中文圖書分類法). You can locate the Chinese Collection of different subjects from 000s to 900s. |
Chinese Reference Books  | Users can find Chinese dictionaries, encyclopedia almanacs, atlas, directories and yearbooks here. All reference tools have the prefix “R”. |
Journalism & Communication  | Chinese books on “Journalism & Communication” are shelved here. Call numbers include 541.83, 557.76-557.79 and 890-899. |
Chinese Oversized Books  | The oversized Chinese books with prefix “O” are shelved here. |
中華再造善本 Chinese Rare Books Reprints  | If you are interested, please contact our staff at the G/F Circulation Counter or at the 3/F Information Counter for assistance. The Chinese Rare Books Reprints are not for loan. |
Provost / President Publication  | It is a book display which showcases publications written by the HKSYU President, Dr. Henry H.L. Hu (校監胡鴻烈博士), and Principal, Dr. Chung Chi-Yung (校長鍾期榮博士). |
School / Staff Publication  | These cabinets showcase publications published by HKSYU academic staff or departments. |
New Additions  | Newly purchased books and multimedia materials are displayed at the 2/F Lift lobby. Readers are welcome to borrow them. |
Express Printing Station  | Users can quickly print out their materials by using the Express Printing Station. |
PC Workstations  | Users can use the PCs to search Discover@ShueYan and access the Internet. |
Study Carrels  | Please keep quiet and be considerate to others. |
Discussion Area  | Users can use the discussion area at the 2/F activity room for group discussion. |
