The workshop is to train students how to search the electronic resources on that related to the subject of business. It includes:

1. Introduction of Proquest databases
2. Introduction of Ebsco databases
3. Other internet resources related to subject of business

Students will learn how to search and retrieve the resources from database of Ebrary. Creation of bookshelf in the Internet and reading of e-book will also be introduced.

In this workshop, students will be introduced the services and facilities available in HKSYU Library. Aspects include:

1. How to login the Novell account
2. View your borrowing history
3. Renew, reserve and access the online databases
4. The search of library catalogue
5. Introduction of the classification scheme of both English and Chinese collection (DDC and 中國圖書分類法) and shelf arrangement.
6. Demonstration of printing procedure in the library
7. Other in-house services and facilities

This workshop is to train students how to retrieve news articles from Wisenews via various searching criteria.

The workshop is to train students how to search the electronic resources on that related to the subject of social science. It includes:

1. Introduction of Proquest databases
2. Introduction of Ebsco databases
3. Other internet resources related to subject of sociology and social work

Students will be introduced a variety of electronic and printed resources on English language and literature. Aspects include:

1. Hands-on training of NAXOS Spoken Word Library, and Literature Online
2. Introduction of reference tools such as Oxford Online Dictionary and other Internet resources

The workshop is to train students how to search the electronic resources on that related to the subject of legal aspect. It includes:

1. Introduction of Westlaw databases
2. Introduction of iSinolaw databases
3. Other internet resources related to subject of legal aspect

This workshop is to train students how to search the electronic resources on Chinese literature, history and philosophy, and introduce the classification of printed Chinese materials. Aspects include:

1. Hand-on practice of 中國期刊全文數據庫 and 中國優秀博碩士學位論文全文數據庫
2. Introduction of other Internet relevent resources
