Serials Section The current issues and daily newspapers are located on the front shelves. The bound issues are located on the middle shelves.
The older bound newspapers and special collections such as annual reports of listed companies and government publications are located at the back.
Information Counter
Information Counter If readers have difficulties in locating journals and special materials, or using computers, please make enquiries at this counter.
All materials of special collections should be borrowed or returned at this counter.
Journals: Current Issues
Journals The latest issue is shelved on the top while the other current issues are shelved inside the stack.
All current issues are for Library use only.
Newsletter: Current Issues
Newsletter The current issues of newsletters are shelved here. For the back issues, please make requests at the 3/F Information Counter.
Bound Journals
bound journals Bound journals with prefix P, RP or LP are shelved at 3/F and 4/F law library. For the borrowing privilege of bound journals, please refer to Loan Quota and Period.
PCs
PCs Readers can use the PCs to search WebPAC. The PCs are installed Microsoft Office. Users can print documents with the attached printer.
Current Newspapers
current newspapers These are the daily newspapers. The other newspapers (within 1 month) are put on the adjacent racks. The bound newspapers (within 1 year) are shelved at the back on the 3/F.
Alternatively, if you are looking for newspaper articles within recent years (1998-), you can use "WiseNews" online databases to search them.
Newspapers (Back Issues)
back-issue newspapers These are the back-issue newspapers. If you cannot find the required back-issue newspapers, they may be under binding in the newspaper archive. Please make requests at the 2/F Key Counter.
Special Collection
special collection Special collection such as annual reports of listed companies and government publications are in open stacks.
For the research reports, theses and internship reports, please make requests here and borrow them for 3 hours.
Special Collection: New Books
special collection new books Readers are welcome to view these new books.
Course Reserve Collection
course reserve collection There are some books or lecture notes reserved by the lecturer for a particular course or by the Library due to high demands. These materials are placed in the 3/F Special Collection Room.
With the course code or lecturer’s name or titles of the materials, users are free to borrow them for 3 hours and use them inside the Library.
Studying Seats
studying seats Please keep quiet and be considerate to others. For group discussions, please use the discussion area in the Library Complex lobby or 6/F discussion rooms.
